The Chilean rulings concerning Police Liability on Negligence tended to be analyzed due to its unique use of normative sources. However, a thorough analysis reveals significant trends in the specific application of state tort law. Classifying the decisions between those dealing with "excesses" and those referring to "police defects" helps to define lines and critically examine them.Downloads
