Abstract

Purpose: Analyze the status of research on Perceived Organizational Support (POS) in Latin America between the years 2015-2019.

Originality/value: The POS is an element related to the job satisfaction of workers, which helps to understand the relationships between the employee and the employer.

Design/methodology: The paradigm is qualitative, the recollection of information was made through a Systematic Review of Literature (SRL) in several free access academic databases, all through a critical reading for the analysis of the data collected.

Results: It demonstrates that the POS is an antecedent of the Organizational Commitment, capable of increasing the productivity of the company.

Implications: This work represents a link between the academic and business worlds because it can help organizations in the region create mechanisms that allow them to improve their productivity and the quality of life of their employees.
