Outstanding Reviewers is a space dedicated to expressing RAN’s gratitude and appreciation for those who generously contribute their time and effort to the editorial process. We aim to highlight their work and celebrate their contribution to the academic community, reaffirming our commitment to transparency and the recognition of merit in research.

Our outstanding reviewers are distinguished by:

Juan Felipe Espinosa Cristia

Dr. Juan Felipe Espinosa Cristia is a Chilean academic and researcher specializing in organizational studies, science, technology, and society (STS), and social sustainability. He is an Associate Professor at Universidad Técnica Federico Santa María and previously held the same position at Universidad Andrés Bello (2016-2022). He holds a PhD in Management from the University of Leicester (2014), a Master’s in Business from Pontifical Catholic University of Chile (2002), and a Bachelor's in Administration from Pontifical Catholic University of Valparaíso (1996). His research critically analyzes organizational practices and everyday technologies, including studies on CajaVecina and trading desks in Chile. 

His latest project, a Fondecyt grant, explores scientific production through laboratory ethnography. He has contributed to research on medical technology innovation, intellectual migration, and sustainability. With prior roles at Pontifical Catholic University of Valparaíso and Santo Tomás University, plus executive experience at BASF, his work bridges organizational theory and socio-technical perspectives.

Isabel Cristina Flores Rueda

Dr. Isabel Cristina Flores Rueda is a full-time professor and researcher at the Universidad Autónoma de San Luis Potosí (UASLP), affiliated with the Unidad Académica Multidisciplinaria Región Altiplano (UAMRA). She holds a bachelor’s degree in Marketing from the Universidad del Valle de México (UVM), a master’s degree in Education from the Universidad de Santander, and a doctorate in Business Administration from Universidad Tangamanga (UTAN). With over 12 years of teaching experience, Dr. Flores Rueda has taught both undergraduate and graduate courses. Her work focuses on educational innovation, developing interactive methodologies that foster proper cognition and meaningful learning. 

Her research interests include pricing strategies, consumer profiles, and marketing strategies in micro, small, and medium-sized enterprises (MIPyMES). Since 2018, she has been analyzing consumer profiles and focusing on pricing strategies since 2020. In 2024, Dr. Flores Rueda received the ANUIES Award in the Innovation in Teaching Practice category, recognizing her commitment to educational excellence and advancing higher education in Mexico.

 


Alejandro Delgado Cruz

Dr. Alejandro Delgado Cruz has a Ph.D. in Administration and Senior Management, a Master’s degree in Tourism Studies, a specialization in Tourism Business Administration, and a Bachelor's degree in Gastronomy from the Universidad Autónoma del Estado de México (UAEM). He has been awarded the UAEM institutional prize “Presea Ignacio Manuel Altamirano Basilio” on three occasions -2015, 2018, and 2022- for his outstanding academic performance in graduate studies. Currently, he is a Full-Time Professor at the Faculty of Tourism and Gastronomy, holds the PRODEP profile, and is a Level I member of the National System of Researchers. He serves as the Executive Editor of El Periplo Sustentable, a journal indexed in the field of tourism.

Additionally, he leads the Network for Research and Innovation in Gastronomy and Tourism and is an active member of the Research Group “Tourism, Development, and Sustainability,” where his research focuses on innovation capabilities, organizational sustainability, the circular economy, and technology management. He teaches at the undergraduate, master’s, and doctoral levels. In recent years, his scientific output includes more than 100 publications, comprising indexed articles, books, book chapters, conference presentations, research papers, and participation in international research projects.
