The budget in public bodies is the most important public policy document available for the management of resources, since it contains, in a very concrete way, the objectives and instruments of the policy. Transparency, on the other hand, is aimed at giving all people access to existing public information, which is how budget transparency is defined as the total opening of the pertinent tax information in a systematic way and in accordance with well-established times.
This document gathers information related to the budget of the National Suicide Prevention Program (PNPS). The objective of the document is to provide a share of transparency for the use of the funds allocated to this program in recent years and to issue a judgment under the responsibility of the author regarding the obstacles that have arisen in its implementation. The information collected in this article was obtained mainly through the aforementioned websites and online interviews with officials who are directly involved in the execution of the program.
