Simulacra between writing and visuality in Gonzalo Millán’s artwork. The process of construction of the poetic image in Croquis and Archivo Zonaglo

Gonzalo Millán locates his writing practice in the frame of a dynamic interaction with the Real, using verbal and visual codes (imagetext) as part of an experimental strategy, where the lucidity and wandering of the poetic gaze aim at a disjuncture that enables the interrogation of reality taken as the definitive. The latter is achieved through visual access points or zones that lead the writing practice enabling the emergence of generative simulacra of inter-artistic dialogues in the creative context of his artistic work. The analysis of poems “Santa Águeda” series which are part of the Claroscuro and cards from the Archivo Zonaglo accounts for the process of construction of the poetic image.
