This article seeks to highlight how the concepts of Ekphrasis and Archive function as central elements of the novels Papelucho Gay en Dictadura by Juan Pablo Sutherland & Un comunista en calzoncillos by Claudia Piñeiro. Textual productions that experiment with the notions of memory and image related to the postmemory. The inclusion in the novel of images and files fragments the narrative structure, being able to approach both works from the analytical resource that I call aesthetics of elision, interpretative proposal that works the texts that refer to the dictatorial period. The aesthetic of elision works from the concepts of fragmentation (temporal and narrative) and discursive duality, expressed in the ambiguity with which the narrators of both novels explore the dimensions of political conflict.
