Abstract

In this research work, the notion of “Hypervulnerable Consumer” or with aggravated vulnerability as a legal category in Chile is analyzed, the foundations that justify the existence of this category of consumer, the determination of the vulnerability that affects them and the protection measures that our legal system could grant them. The related legislation, doctrine and jurisprudence will be reviewed and explained, in addition to giving my opinion on this topic.
