The Digitalization Project of the University of Concepcion Law Review included a process of more than two years of work, carried out under the direction of Professor Dr. José Luis Diez Schwerter, Director of the Journal at the time.
It began with the completion, in 2006, of the Test Report to qualify for the Degree of Bachelor of Legal and Social Sciences at the University of Concepción entitled "Creation of a collection in Digital Format of the Law Magazine Universidad de Concepción. Some aspects legal", prepared by the students Miguel Angel Miranda Ferrada and Eric Iván San Martín Guajardo, who, under the guidance of Professor Diez, proceeded to digitize the entire printed collection of the magazine published until then (from volume 1/1933 to 215-216/2004), as well as to analyze the various legal aspects involved in its possible dissemination in electronic format.
Subsequently, the engineers Johanna Schorwer Muñoz and Rodrigo Martínez Cifuentes transferred all the digital material of the Journal to the Journal's website (including the later volumes: 217-218/2005 and 219-220/2006), providing it with indexes and search engines. The current lawyer, Mr. Miguel Angel Miranda Ferrada, also cooperated with them in this work.
All of this work allowed the printed version of the Universidad de Concepción Law Review (ISSN 0303-9986) to now be joined by the online or electronic version (ISSN 0718-591X), facilitating its consultation and dissemination. Finally, the launch of the online or electronic version of the Journal took place in June 2008.
Currently, the Journal has this OJS editorial management platform, coordinated by the Repository of Academic Journals of the University of Concepción, where the volumes of the Journal corresponding to the year 2015 onwards are located.
