About the Journal

The Journal in Government and Public Administration (Gobierno y Administración Pública) is a biannual peer-reviewed scientific publication edited and financed by the Department of Public Administration and Political Science and its Master's Program in Politics and Government, both belong to the Faculty of Law and Social Sciences, Universidad de Concepción, Chile. 

For its publication it considers unpublished manuscripts in the disciplines of public administration and political science, reserving the exclusive rights to publish the works. The areas of interest of the publication are the phenomena and experiences observed in politics and public policies; government and public administration, elements of public leadership and information management for decision making in the public sector. To this end, this journal gathers proposals in Spanish and English of scientific articles, academic essays, public experiences, book reviews and documents in the area, as well as bibliographic comments. 

The purpose of the journal is to contribute to an academic and professional discussion and reflection, with a multidisciplinary approach to public administration and government, in political, legal and administrative spaces, which are deployed in territorial, cultural, social and economic contexts of Ibero-America. 

It is aimed at the national and international academic community, students, teachers, researchers and public sector professionals.
