CONJECTURES ABOUT LANGUAGE, POETICAL EXPERIMENTATION: FROM BORGES NARRATIVE TO THE WORK OF HUIDOBRO, VALLEJO, AND GIRONDO
Keywords:
Critique of language, poetical experimentation, Latin American literatureAbstract
This article poses an approach to Borges short narrative from critique of language perspective, in order to connect the view of this author with the poetical work of Huidobro, Vallejo, and Girondo. While the Argentinian writer explores language insufficiencies and develops hypothetical ways to restore its expressive capacity, the poets just mentioned experiment and modify language, deploying verbal techniques which are directly related to Borges ideas.
