Abstract

here are good reasons to believe that the environmental crisis constitutes one of the most urgent problems of our time, and certainly one of the most difficult to confront. It is, in effect, a relatively new problem—directly linked to the expansion of typically modern development models and, for that very reason, to the phenomenon of technology—for which traditional moral and political frameworks of reflection seem insufficient to provide a solution.
