As if it were an exercise in hermeneutics, Thomas Kuhn's Thalheimer Lectures at Johns Hopkins University in 1984 deepen the relativistic vision of the philosophy of science. However, this is not developed through a simple historicism but rather through a framework reflected in language practices. In these four lectures, Kuhn's focus is on the notion of language as a world-constructor. To this end, he draws upon the foundation of incommensurability to refer to certain scientific languages.
