On the notion of belief in jacobi’s realism and ist impact on hegel’s philosophy

The article explores the notion of belief present in the philosophy of F. H. Jacobi and the critical appropriation that Hegel makes of this concept. First, it discusses the emergence of Jacobi's philosophy in the context of classical German philosophy. From there, it aims to thematize the concept of belief in light of Jacobi's realism and how it contrasts with the notions of belief found in the philosophies of Hume and Kant. Finally, it seeks to establish the impact of Jacobi's philosophy on Hegel's thought, through a critique and reappropriation that will lead to an unavoidable logical relationship between immediacy and mediation.
