Abstract

What is history and how should it be studied and told? these are questions for which answers are yet to be found. Starting from the distinction between reason and thinking proposed by Arendt (2002), this article proposes a reevaluation of the usefulness of performance in historiographical research, insisting not on his novelty but on the relevance of its formalization in the academic world.
