Gabriela Mistral y la identidad tensionada de nuestra Modernidad

Abstract

The link of the issue of the Mistralian (as in Gabriela Mistral’s) prose with the development of the literary modernity in Latin America is recognised by several authors. Bearing this work in mind, I intend to develop an example in the way in which the Latin American writers at the begining of the 20th century have assimilated european modernity specifically studying the work of prose literature of Gabriela Mistral.This means to study which are the conditions of  appropriation, its limitations, organization, continuities and discontinuities.
