El sujeto estético en las Biografías de Gerardo Diego
Keywords:
Creacionism, “dishumanization”, vanguard, biographyAbstract
This article analyzes the latest creacionist production of Gerardo Diego, Biografía incompleta (1925-1967) and Biografía continuada (1971-1972). We postulate that Diego retraces the Ortega y Gasset’s notion of “dishumanization” in terms that the Biografías assume a subject aesthetically constituted. This aspect apports a shade to the idea of a vanguard only centred on the form. The Biografías show a “poetical life” in verses that combine cubist elements and Huidobro’s influence.
