Abstract

This article will describe some aspects about the meaning of esthetics principles of our culture for discovering if Ancient Egypt had the same idea or other different one. In this case, we disagree with the traditional vision of some scholars who have considered that ancient Egyptians never had any particular idea about Art, esthetic or special study of beauty in their monuments. We agree with other point of view, which can show us a very sophisticate ideological/esthetic discourse in the Egyptian buildings, such as the famous step pyramid from Saqqara.
