Abstract

This work is aimed to review that what we call “rural-agrarian scope of knowledge” in Military Dictatorship, by tracing the historical antecedents of this issue, and by trying to understand, on the one hand, production of knowledge about the rural and agrarian world, in the framework of the “new” orientations of the economical politic in Military Dictatorship. At the same time,  it is intended to visualize  the peak and birth of the new reflexive spaces in the framework of alternative projects, in terms of the production of knowledge about agrarian and rural world at the end of 60?s and in the 80?s decade. In this sense, it will be interesting to us to visualize the Grupo de Investigaciones Agrarias (GIA) and the way in which it was constituted, in the context studied, both as with respect to the dominating knowlegde about the scope as in his proper internal articulation.
