Abstract

This document is the transcription of consumer prices archives of Iquique, Antofagasta, Valparaíso, Santiago, Concepción, and Valdivia between 1935 and 1963. The archives come from the Yearbook of Internal Trade and Communications published by the General Statistical Office of Chile. These data may be useful for research in three areas: 1) cultural aspects of consume; 2) cost of living, real wages, and poverty; 3) political conflicts.
