Editorial Policies and Ethics

Cuadernos de Filosofía is committed to maintaining high standards of academic ethics throughout the editorial process. Editors, reviewers, and authors are expected to adhere to these guidelines in all stages.

Author Responsibilities
We do not accept:
- Plagiarism in any form
- Conflicts of interest
- Self-plagiarism
- Use of AI in intellectual creation and writing

All submissions are screened using specialized plagiarism detection software (Compilatio).

Reviewer Responsibilities
Reviewers must:
- Declare any conflicts of interest
- Follow the journal's evaluation policies
- Maintain confidentiality of editorial information

Ethical Framework

We implement a rigorous double-blind peer review process, evaluating submissions based on their scholarly quality, originality, clarity, and thematic relevance.

Corrections and Retractions
We address all requests for corrections and retractions according to COPE guidelines. Formal claims should be sent to cfilosofia@udec.cl with appropriate documentation.

When significant errors are identified, we publish correction notices. In cases of verified academic misconduct, articles are formally retracted with an explanation of the reasons.
