Abstract

Professor Vigo's text is an exposition of the central themes of Aristotelian philosophy that, through observations and contrasts, lends a renewed character to the understanding and interpretation of this philosopher's thought. This is achieved through a discussion grounded in a broad, varied, and recent bibliography concerning Aristotle's philosophy. Although the work presents itself as an introduction, it also constitutes a critical examination of certain topics that have recently garnered increasing attention in relation to Aristotle's philosophy.
