El Evolutionism and the Vulnerability of Western Morality

Abstract

The following article aims to show that approaches such as naturalistic explanation of moral behavior, ideas about empathy of De Waal and the proposed expansion of the moral circle of Singer, seem to reveal that the traditional anthropocentric paradigm present in Western morality should revoke their attempts to relate all to the ego doctrine. New data are transformed by knowledge awareness considerations tending to the integration of other, so one's conscience has infringing ego conception of Western moral doctrine, specifically the one we inherited directly from modernity.
