El Embodied time and the arrow of time

Abstract

In this paper we discuss the problem of time asymmetry or the arrow of time. For this, we analyze some part of the work of Huw Price about the origin of  time asymmetry in physics and expose how this shows a strong anthropic component. Considering this, we show how the work of George Lakoff and Mark Johnson in the area of embodied cognition captures some highlights of the construction of the concept of time mentioned by Price. Finally, this will allow us to argue against the atribution of time asymmetry in the micro-universe, because this is a feature that we attribute to the time based on our experience in the world and we have no direct access to the microphysical world events.
