Ethics of cordial reason as complement and basis for an intercultural ethics

Abstract

The following article is meant to show the approach of a cordial ethics, as developed by Adela Cortina, from which she tries to supplement and ground her ethical-political project of a world-wide, intercultural ethics, rooted in a civic ethics of pluralist societies with democratic States and States governed by the rule of law. A cordial reason that would come to change the ethic of speech into a warmer version of itself.
