Hannah Arendt: An Approach to Her Ideas

Hannah Arendt is a non-systematic contemporary philosopher who analyzes reality from the outside -with particular style and definition- gathering political events taking place around her as well as in the world of philosophy. Her initial scope of analysis is the “miracle" of life, which allows her to relate both worlds. The purpose of this article is to give a partial exposition of her ideas to revalue them, trying to keep the same tone and the committed view she takes pride in. In her theoretical work, she breaks with traditional philosophy. Arendt thinks, or tries to, "without banisters", according to her own expression, refusing to be considered a “philosopher”, but in our viewpoint she is one of the great thinkers of our time
