Justin is primarily known for the concept of ?????, which constitutes his most celebrated contribution and the one that established his name in the history of philosophy for its depth and significance. However, and without diminishing its importance, there is another concept in his thought that has been almost completely forgotten: ?????. This happens because the term appears only secondary in his writings and with less frequency, granting greater prominence to ?????. Nevertheless, the concept of ????? is equally relevant. In this paper, we aim to identify the concept of wisdom in Justin: its definitions, developments, manifestations, and interpretation within the author’s thought. By doing so, we seek to establish a rereading of Justin that opens the way for new interpretations and perspectives on his philosophical contribution, which has traditionally focused almost exclusively on ?????. The discovery and analysis of this concept allow for a more comprehensive understanding of the Apologies and the Dialogue, revealing that Justin’s contribution to philosophy and Christian theology is broader and more generous than previously thought, encompassing dimensions that were once reduced to ?????.
