CONCEPCIONES NO-LÓGICAS DEL CONCEPTO DE FORMA LÓGICA
Keywords:

The aim of this paper is first to analyse several philosophical conceptions of logi- cal form which have as a common basis the laws and principles of classical first order logic. Then such conceptions are critically contrasted with a conception of logical form advocated by Chomsky in the 80's, the Government and Binding Theory. Finally, we are going to argue that, although apparently at odds with each other, both kinds of conceptions can coincide when a systematic explanation of how they assign meaning to each of their logical forms is provided and when we explore the issue about what kind of cognitive foundations would allow us to define the logical constants which such forms are based upon.
