OXÍMORON: PENSAMIENTO POSTMETAFÍSICO
Keywords:
Metaphysics, Heidegger, Habermas, contemporary philosophy, DerridaAbstract
This article ascertains the attempt contemporary philosophy makes to excel metaphysics and presents some of the weaknesses to achieve that goal. The German philosopher Jürgen Habermas tends to be more inclined to support this postmetaphisic thought basically through a new conceptualisation of reason and science. Nevertheless, in the light of Jacques Derrida's work it is possible to see that Western thought has become a philosophical discourse -which makes science possible- as long as it remains within the essential legacy left by Greek philosophy. That is, within a definite conception of the Being. Thus, it may not be reasonable to expect just surmounting metaphysics but rather the assumption and projection of such a legacy.
