Abstract

The suspect prophets regard Friedrich Nietzsche as one of their icons and, for this very reason, a paradigmatic figure. His ambiguous and aphoristic thought reflects not only a view about that reality external to him but also about his inner self. Nihilism is the "depreciation" of the highest values: a process through which life as a result of representation of "will" becomes "nothing". This philosophy of absolute negativity and ceaseless self negation and overcoming is a passion for nothingness. Hence, man's anguish immersed in this nothingness, where any chance of interpretative grounds is absent.
