About the Journal

Cuadernos de Filosofía is an academic journal edited by the Department of Philosophy at the University of Concepción, with the support of the University of Concepción Press. Founded in 1970, the journal resumed its activities in 1991 after a period of interruption and has since been published annually in print format. Since 2015, an electronic version has also been incorporated, expanding its reach and accessibility.

The journal is dedicated to publishing original, high-quality articles, discussions, reviews and translations that reflect significant contributions to any area of philosophical research, with special interest in fields such as metaphysics, epistemology, philosophy of language, ethics, aesthetics, gender studies, post-structuralism, and political philosophy.

Published annually, Cuadernos de Filosofía welcomes contributions in Spanish, Portuguese, and English, establishing itself as a rigorous, pluralistic forum open to diverse philosophical traditions and approaches.
