Editorial Process

The journal accepts submissions throughout the year, including research and reflection articles, notes, book reviews, and translations. Submissions must be made exclusively through our OJS platform (Open Journal System), which requires authors to register an account on the site.

Upon receipt of the submission, acknowledgement will be sent to the author via OJS and/or email. Throughout the editorial process, authors will be kept informed about the status of their submission through the same channels.

Evaluation

Preliminary Evaluation
A verification of formal and content requirements is conducted, along with an originality and authorship analysis using specialized software (Compilatio). The criteria considered include thematic suitability and editorial interest. As a result of this stage, the submission may be rejected or advanced to the next phase of evaluation.

Peer Review
The evaluation process is carried out under a double-blind peer review system, ensuring the anonymity of both authors and reviewers. The criteria considered include:

  • Originality and contribution to the discipline

  • Current bibliography and use of sources

  • Methodological rigor and treatment of historical references

  • Argumentative clarity and expository quality

Possible decisions are: acceptance, acceptance with modifications, or rejection. In case of disagreement between reviewers, a third evaluator or final editorial decision is sought.

Editing and Production
At this stage, the incorporation of requested modifications is verified, when applicable, and additional editorial revisions are carried out. The text is then formatted according to the journal's graphic standards, and the final version is sent to the authors for approval.
