Abstract

This article analyses the novel Francisco Pizarro (1936) by the Peruvian writer Rosa Arciniega. The novel exposes the ambiguous relationship that the author has with the Hispanophilic view of history and the developmentalist model of the second third of the 20th century in Latin America. It will identify the place that this writer occupies in the intellectual field.
