The objective of this study is to describe and interpret prosocial behavior in individuals with disabilities, based on their life stories, while also considering the relationship between this positive behavior and their social inclusion. Qualitative methodology was employed, utilizing a life story design and a purposive sampling of eight individuals with different types of disabilities. The data were analyzed using thematic coding and grounded theory. It was found that prosocial behavior is frequent, systematic, and aimed at promoting the quality of life and inclusion of the most vulnerable individuals. The discussion analyzes these findings in light of the literature and provides some theoretical and practical suggestions on the topic.
