In order to interpret the meaning of the questions in the context of narrative intention stated in the Canto General which is: “(...) tell the story” (Amor América), it dialogues with the formula of poetic reason held by María Zambrano. Thus, we propose that the character of the poetic work from a recognition of the epistemic value of the question, unfolds as a possible place to read philosophically, which does not mean that the Canto General is a philosophical text, but space open to reflection to reveal anthropological and cultural signifiers.
