Abstract

Research focused on reconstructing the environmental history of the state of Morelos from presenting the conformation of urban and industrial metabolisms during the period 1980 to 2021. From the materialist perspective of history, the imaginary of sustainability and critical marxist geography, it was possible to identify the main variables that drive the historical process of industrialization and urbanization in the state of Morelos; which allowed to know the dynamics and historical trends of the Morelos territory, based on the environmental implications that have been generated.
