Jaime Guzmán Errázuriz y el gremialismo: la refundación de la derecha chilena (1964-1970)

Abstract

This article analyses the political and ideological evolution of JGE's thought, from 1964 to 1970. Particular attention is given to the innovative side of his ideas, to his criticism of the traditional right wing parties as well as to his proposal for the construction of a new right wing, which eventually became one of the mainsays of Augusto Pinochet's regime.
