Estados Unidos y la iniciativa de defensa estratégica: ¿búsqueda de la preponderancia estratégica?

Abstract

In this work the American proposal of the 80 as regards its strategic defense is examined, the arguments for and against of this initiative are presented, and specifically the author analyses its implications both as regards its real viability, as in the consequences for its strategic relationship with the USSR, considering its impact on the arms control agreements between the Superpowers.
