Abstract

The intention of the present study, it is to analyze through the sources, the causes that explain the trembling desire of emperor Marc Ulpio Trajan, to expand the territories by means of extreme wars, giving continuity to a cycle of Roman expansion near the four cycles, and to determine as they are the key symbols and that characterize their power. Thus, Trajan will govern between the 98 and the 117 d. of C. being the last emperor who privileges the victorious war by on Augustea Peace.
