Abstract

In this article we want to describe some antecedents about the city that was unearthed in the site of Hirssarlik, which is officially known as the famous city of Troy, by the descriptions of Homer's poems. Besides, we will expose the possible historical bascs about the legendary war of Troy and the most recent studies about it.
