Abstract

This article will analyze on the basis of Chilean and Argentinian newspaper the meeting that took place on board the warship Maryland in Antofagasta Bay on December 8, 1928, between the elect President of the United States Herbert Clark Hoover and the Bolivian delegation led by its Foreign Minister Alberto Palacios.
