The aim of this study is to identify, within the concepts of territory and community of life suggested by Indigenous peoples and ecofeminist movements, useful elements for a renewed understanding of justice, as well as for rethinking Law in order to promote an expanded democracy that embraces all forms of alterity. Based on a broad hypothetical-deductive approach and bibliographic research, the study concludes that human relationality and interdependence with other forms of life and with the planet Earth itself demand rethinking Law and implementing a democratic openness that encompasses the terrestrial community of life, seeking justice for alterity within relationality.
