Abstract

By merging poststructuralist and feminist theories a new paradigmatic methodology for using in nursing researcher is proposed. From this merger, poststructuralist feminist theory has developed participatory methodologies in which women’s experiences are visible, encouraging emancipation for social change. South American Nursing can beneft from this proposition, however, some limitations and challenges must be considered in its use in nursing research.
