Submissions
Submission Preparation Checklist
As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.- The submitted work has not been previously published or submitted for consideration by any other journal (or an explanation has been provided in the comments to the editor).
- The submitted file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, RTF or WordPerfect format.
- The section to which the manuscript is submitted is indicated in the comments to the editor (Editorial, Original Research, Article, Review, Letters to the Editor).
- The manuscript is organized and structured as indicated in the instructions to the authors.
- The title of the manuscript does not exceed 15 words.
- Each author's information is provided: profession, highest academic degree, institutional affiliation, e-mail address, ORCID code and corresponding author.
- The abstract does not exceed 250 words.
- Key words (up to 6), consist, if possible, of DeCS/MeSH descriptors separated by semicolons (;).
- The text has double-spaced line spacing and 12-point Times New Roman font size.
- All citations in the text of the manuscript are in superscript using parentheses. Numbers correspond to the numbers indicated in the list of bibliographical references.
- Tables, graphs and figures are cited, but not included in the text and are sent separately in an Excel file spreadsheet.
- In the case of online articles, URL and access date are indicated.
- Consecutive order of in-text citations has been carefully checked.

The following documents have been submitted: Manuscript as .doc file, Excel file tables and others, Declaration of Responsibility of Author's in PDF, as well as the Ethical-Scientific Report.

Authors retain copyright and grant the Ciencia y Enfermería the right of first publication under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International (CC BY) which allows the use and sharing of published works without restrictions, as long as proper credit is given to the authors of the journal and the source.
Authors also grant the Ciencia y Enfermería the rights of first publication and dissemination of the selected works in its electronic version, including their inclusion in catalogs, libraries, servers, or virtual sites.
