The purpose of this experimental study is to examine the Reinforced Education Program's effect upon breast Cáncer and breast self-examination over the self exploring behavior among female teachers belonging to several Girls'High Schools in Concepción-Chile. Breast self-exploring behavior was measured through five variables including cognitive, affective and
psychomotor aspects. These variables were:
- Knowledgment uponbreast self-examination and breast cáncer.
- Susceptibility perception upon breast cáncer.
- Seriousnes perception upon breast cáncer
- Breast self examination skill
- Frecuency upon breast self-examination practice.
As far as statistical significance is concerned, all of the variables, showed a significantly increase after the Reinforced Education Program was applicated. Conclusión: The Reinforced Education Program upon breast Cáncer and self-examination produced a favourable effect over breast self-exploring behavior among female teachers who received such program, increasing and reinforcing this behavior, as well.
