Abstract

The present work is an analytical-critical study, based on Foucault, that aims at clarifying how the process of disciplinary formation of nurses occurs by describing the disciplinary techniques of the discursivo formation of this process. Besides the historical survey, semi-structured inquires were conducted within three nursing courses of public universities in Rio Grande do Sul, with professor-nurses, students and gradúate nurses. The construction of categories was structured in an intersected manner, enabling to show that the disciplinarization of nurses can be done through fear, normalizaron, time control, standartization of techniques, emphasis on meticulosity and perfectionism, by the disciplinary sight, disciplinary sanctions and by examinations.
