Abstract

The purpose of this study is to explore the body as a symbolic and sensitive representation and agent of our actions within the framework of professional training. It is concluded that corporality is a whole in which different dimensions coexist. One of them is usually predominant, allowing the actors to reveal themselves as unique and interdependent beings. It is necessary to incorporate artistic - educational strategies in the academic training of future carers of dependent people that allow emotional education to take place and the acquisition of generic competences that cannot be learned cognitively.
