This article analyzes how the poetry collections Documental by Jaime Pinos and Metraje Encontrado by Germán Carrasco represent childhood and memory within the context of the Chilean dictatorship. Through theoretical concepts of the archive (Derrida, Guasch, Farge) and memory (Jelin), it examines how both poets, albeit with different strategies-Pinos using documents and testimony, Carrasco using found objects and personal evocation-construct a poetic archive. It concludes that they act as "archons" of childhood memory, seeking to heal social wounds and sensitively transmit history, offering a hopeful reflection on the legacy of trauma.
