General considerations

Contributions submitted to the Journal Territorios y Regionalismos (RTR) must be original and unpublished. This means that they must not have been published nor be in the process of being published in any medium, whether printed or electronic (journals, books, websites).

Those who submit contributions to RTR must do so following the editorial guidelines detailed below. Proposals that do not strictly conform to the criteria of format, length and citation indicated in the guidelines will be returned to the authors in the first instance, that is, without initiating the second phase of the review/evaluation process.

RTR accepts original articles, reflective articles, essays, letters to the editor and reviews in Spanish, Portuguese, English and French, which will be published in their original language. In the case of contributions in English or French, authors should accompany their proposals with a 400-word summary in Spanish. Unless expressly stated otherwise, the articles published in Revista de Trashumancia y Transhumancia always represent the views of the authors, without involving the positions of the journal's management or its editorial committee.

  • Avoid self-plagiarism, which is repeating part of a published paper in a new article. In this case, the author should consider whether the study is very relevant, take the main parts and quote them without exceeding their use in the new writing.
  • Deactivate active macros (e.g. Mendeley, Endnote, etc.). They should be free for standardization.
