Abstract

This study article deals with the interpretation of meanings attributed to the concept of Middle leadership in public education by the management of a Municipal Education Administration Department (DAEM) and Local public education services (SLEP), in relation to the years of its implementation. The study is situated within the context of public education, which poses a significant challenge for the Chilean State and its citizens. To achieve this, a qualitative methodology framed as a case study is employed, using semi-structured interviews and anchored theorizing analysis, which allows addressing critical issues emerging from the subjects of the investigation.
