INFIDELITY RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN HIV/AIDS INFECTION ON THE VISION OF HETEROSEXUAL MEN

Considering the infidelity of men with stable relationships, a conducive behavior to infection with HIV/ AIDS, the study aimed to investigate the relationship between the unfaithful behavior of these men in a stable relationship and the risk of HIV / AIDS. Qualitative study using ethno nursing in the phases: Primary observation and listening; observation with limited participation, primary participation and primary reflection with reconfrmation of the data, was performed. Subjects were heterosexual men who were being treated for AIDS in a reference hospital of Brazil. The results showed that the motivating factors of infidelity were marital confict, work activity, and temptation by the new and sense of control / power. The conclusion is that nursing can act together with the male population in the awakening of HIV / AIDS consciousness panorama, helping in the deconstruction of values rooted in society, leading men to refect on behaviors that promote the prevention of viruses.
